Similar to a Gewürztraminer, Siegerrebe is an aromatic cold-climate white grape that flourishes here at our South East Kelowna vineyard. Fruit for the Nagging Doubt Siegerrebe is grown entirely at our Sallows Road estate. We slowly fermented the must over 12 weeks at 14 ⁰C to preserve aromatics, with a small portion of skin contact. On the nose and palate, this wine is intensely aromatic – an extremely complex profile of honeysuckle, lychee, tangerine, spice, and citrus can be detected. Our second vintage shows off more mature acidity on the palate, making this a wonderful, food friendly wine. With 11.9% alcohol/volume, it can be paired with hot and spicy dishes, and is lovely with cheeses and seafood or just sipping on a sunny spring day!
