Fruit for our 2011 The Pull comes from the Solid Ground vineyard in East Bench Osoyoos. The wine is a Merlot-based blend, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.
Aged 17 months in new and used French and American oak, this wine was hand punched daily for gentle handling and extraction of flavours. The Pull is full bodied, with balanced acidity and notes of black cherry, plum, vanilla and spice on the nose and palette. It is sophisticated but approachable, and is a great wine to pair with anything grilled or roasted, especially lamb.
